Additionally, among the Cipher Manuscripts, also encrypted, was allegedly an address of a Rosicrucian Adept named Fraulein Sprengel from Nuremburg, care of a hotel in Stuttgart. Westcott carried on a correspondence with this Fraulein Sprengel starting in November 1887, where she granted the 7=4 Adeptus Exemptus grade on Westcott and directed him to found a Temple No. 3 in England. (Sprengel’s Lodge, named “Licht, Liebe, Leben”, was No. 1, and the Temple of Hermanubis No. 2, granted antecedent to two Englishmen, never fully got off the ground.)
